Once the home of the Wormsgate ("Worms Gay") Dragon. It caused devastation in the area during the time of Sir Hugh Barde of South Ormsby.

Sir Hugh fought the dragon and killed it.

It is buried in the long barrow in the trees along side the road between Walmsgate Top and Swaby.
