Resident scarecrows and Visitors Scarecrow
trail. Plant sale, stalls, crafts, refreshments in the Village Hall and
Flower festival. Our festival is largely dedicated to raising funds for
our 14th Church however, part of the proceeds of the weekend are shared
with other local charitable organisations in the village. There were two
main car parks - one near the White Hart Inn and the other near the Cross
Keys Inn. The Scarecrow Trail is just over one mile. |
| Recently the church bells have been restored. They are now
are heard controlled by a electronically controlled chiming mechanism as
the church tower is no longer strong enough to withstand the strains by
full circle ringing. The bells were chimed for 15minutes 4 times a day during
the festival. |
| In the Church there was a flower display and a collection
of tapestry kneelers that were designed and made by local people of all
ages. |
| In Tetford's village hall, Hamilton Hall, there were refreshments. |
