| An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is an area of natural beauty that the Nation should value and help to preserve. In England and Wales there are forty one such sites. They are looked after by local authorities, voluntary organisations and groups. Each AONB is given attention because of it's flowers and plants, animals and insects, history and culture as well as it's beautiful views.
